Stillness is a Point of Empowerment

In our modern day world, there are too many reasons to get distracted. Too many reasons right now to feel afraid for ourselves and our loved ones.

One of the primary intentions of spiritual practice, like meditation, is to help you develop a strong sense of inner awareness that helps you navigate the complex difficulties in life with more grace, clarity of mind, and perseverance.

Meditation and spiritual practices are given not to avoid or escape the world, but to improve the human experience as it is happening right now.

Spiritual practice is resilience training.

Life is hard. Life is complex. No doubt there is cause for outrage, and there is a way to move through the insurmountable challenges with clear and impactful personal agency.

Sometimes guidance, the way of grace, is asking us to fall even deeper into the wound. The problem. The conflict. The fall reveals what isn’t working and dismantles the constructs in place that no longer support a way forward.

I remember a teacher saying once: “We close our eyes and go inward to learn how how to see better in the dark.” I cannot think of a more apt metaphor for living in today’s world.

We start the healing journey looking for solutions, and somewhere along the way, we recognize that instead of the practice being something we do, it becomes a part of who we are.

This is when you know you are enacting change by being who you are.

Compassion is action too.

The meditation space honors the role spiritual practice has in your everyday life. It is devoted to helping you connect in deeper with yourself and find the truth that offers you strength, clarity and guidance.

Stillness is a point of empowerment.

Stillness allows access to that which is known to your soul.
