I never really wanted to be the weird one.
When I was young I just wanted to fit in like the other girls did. I remember from an early age the pangs of not feeling like I belonged. Every school day my heart would pound as I approached the lunch table to sit with the other kids. Feeling a strange, disembodied sense of fear as I tried to pretend to be “normal” like everyone else. It took every ounce of my strength to stow away that feeling.
And, somehow, each time, something quietly would whisper in me and say: “Come child, sit and stay a while, we have much to share with you.”
I believe that, throughout the span of our lifetime, we are being guided towards greater healing, love, joy, connection and peace.
How we get there is really up to us.
Living intentionally and with purpose is a daily practice. One which requires the capacity for deeper listening, so that, we can meet the world with our true essence in tact.
How fulfilled we are in our lives is dependent upon how in touch we are with our inner world. How happy we are is woven into how much we allow our innate creativity to be expressed. How successful we feel is tied in with how much we reach for our own aspirations.
It is not by theory we become more whole, more compassionate, more present human beings. It is through living in relationship that we learn. How to love. How to be in each other's company. Love and Compassion are not concepts to achieve, they are fundamental principles that we build from the relationship we have with ourselves.
The spiritual quest, a.k.a. our most profound opportunities for growth and transformation, begin in suffering. If there is restlessness or unhappiness in life chances are there is an important piece waiting to be remembered. A deeper form of inner awareness that has gone unnoticed. Perhaps a part of the self has been forgotten or outgrown and is now causing a sense of urgency.
When our healing journey begins it asks of us to increase our capacity for greater clarity, caring, consistency and coherence on both the individual and collective level. This is the work we have come here to do. How can we exact change on a larger scale without it?
To remember who we are, to act on our purpose, to accept the challenge and take full responsibility for our own happiness is the movement towards fulfillment that supports and serves the happiness of the lives of others.
There may be a gnawing sensation of self-doubt every now and again, and yet, this also the moment when there can be an even deeper recognition that by nature you are the most glorious being of your kind.
You are in fact one-of-a-kind. And the world really benefits when you remember that this is so.
Your personality is unique and it is here to serve the overarching purpose of your soul.
There has always been an extra-sensory experience to my life that I could not deny. No matter how hard I tried to fit into a box that people could understand. What I now recognize is that this “out of the box type feeling” was the invitation to my growing edge. It was an area of strength, and simultaneously, a place within myself that I could cultivate. This field of awareness became a growing sense of self-understanding as well as a source of vitality and inner guidance.
It is this same longing to trust in one’s nature that I recognize in the people who come to work with me.
There is an intuitive sensibility about life. There is within them a natural, deep, forceful longing to live life to their fullest and trust in the creative vision they hold inside their heart. To bring their inner world to life out through creative expression. To know that who they have come here to be is the authentic expression of who they are.
They know they are working for a better world. Their work aims to make a relevant social contribution and to shift the state of consciousness on the planet. They know that deep down they are catalysts for change - in their own lives and in the lives of others. And they may not yet know how they are going to do it.
When we begin to accept the truth of who we are, we naturally expand the field of possibility for which our own unique gifts are made. When we welcome ourselves back home inside our heart we open the floodgates for our evolutionary and creative purpose to lead the way.
Creativity is a courageous act. It defines the unseen bounds of what is possible.
I am not here to convince or persuade anyone to live a certain way or even to believe that they have a soul's purpose but I will take a stand for those who are seeking it. My aim is to be a source of unwavering support for those who are looking to unveil the truth of who they are through their intimate relationships, creative purpose and professional healing work in the world.
This is an incredible time of change and we are being asked to remember who we are. To stand in our truth, share from our hearts and speak honestly with one another.
To nurture the creative, potent, uncertain, potency of human potential. Day in and day out. Committed, courageous, uncomfortable, and unwavering. Step by step, breath by breath.. Heart to heart.
I am so deeply grateful for all of you, who have been part of this growing community. Thank you for the support you have shown since the beginning. Many of you who have been with me on this journey have seen my work change and grow over time. With any new beginning there is a letting go of the old. I have crossed this threshold many times.
If you are someone who is weathering a stormy transition in life I applaud you, celebrate you and support you, wholeheartedly.
I look forward to continuing this dynamic conversation about individual, collective and planetary healing that serves to support greater healing, awareness, compassion and presence in a world that so desperately needs our perseverance.
Thank you for the privilege of your time and attention.
May your heart continually open in love, joy, happiness and peace.
With Deepest Love and Gratitude,
