"Some souls just know each other upon meeting."
- n.r. hart
A few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Deborah Adamy who attends my regular Tuesday morning yoga class at Soul Flyte.
Right away we found common ground with our shared fondness for the work of poet and philosopher John O'Donohue. In particular his book Anam Cara. I knew from our many post yoga conversations that we would have a lot to talk about.
At some point, Deborah asked me if I would be interested in being a guest on her podcast. Without hesitation I said yes.
I believe it is a gift to the soul when we are able to share our stories openly. I don't think I've ever experienced my story as true and as vulnerable like I did that day with Deborah.
The soul speaks and has voice in this world when we feel safe, seen, heard and held.
Deborah's presence and willingness to move into the layers that are deeper is compassionate and giving. Her listening offers a kindness to what needs a little gentleness and coaxing out from beneath the mountain of the soul. Thank you for this exquisite opportunity to speak and share with you.
I am so very proud and pleased to present our collaboration.
