What Women Are Saying …
“When I first met Andrea, my life and my spirit were broken. I was playing the roles we all play, pretending I had it all together but inside I was falling apart, deeply ashamed, suffering with suicidal depression, unemployed and feeling hopeless.I had been on a 20+ year “spiritual quest” sometimes finding growth and enlightenment but nothing deep enough ,or sustainable, that allowed me to see the origin of my own darkness or invited me in to see my light. I had already been working with Andrea when “the election” happened and the politics of our country spiraled me into an even deeper despair than I could fathom. In an instant I knew there was an urgency required in my soul to awaken. And while the election was not the catalyst for working with Andrea, it was the spiral into despair that allowed me to really trust Andrea to guide me (and others) through this journey back to ourselves. Andrea has a magical and powerful way of reflecting back to you the deepest love that we have forgotten (or never experienced) within ourselves. I chose to go through two 6 month programs with Andrea, each time uncovering and releasing the thoughts, beliefs and behaviors that prevented me from embracing life and gently opening me to the unique expression I’m meant to offer in this lifetime. Working with Andrea has allowed me the safe space to explore my life experiences and the beliefs that shaped them. She thoughtfully and gently guides you through your own journey of awareness. She is able to synthesize your narrative and reflect back to you in a way that is powerfully and profoundly transformational. She teaches you how to alchemize the parts of yourself that you’ve rejected and transmute it into something useful, loving and beautiful. Andrea is the catalyst to a deep growth and awareness I never thought I’d reach. Today I move through the world feeling deeply loved and supported. I’m successful, confident and empowered. I am in deep gratitude for Andreas spirit, her courage and her wisdom. She has a selfless and powerful gift of healing.” - KH
“When I met Andrea, I was seeking a container in which to explore integrating an embodied understanding of my chakras into my daily life. I wanted to use this knowledge to transform my relationship to myself and provide concrete pathways towards self evolution. I thought it would be exciting and fruitful to learn about this with a small group of women who also shared the same interests. At the time I was beginning to come to terms with gaining a LOT of weight and how much of that was influenced by trying to escape my body, my feelings, and any intimacy I could not control. I think I felt that working on the chakras in an embodied way would offer me a pathway back to my body, my feelings and intimacy. I came across Andrea on Instagram. Reading your posts really touched me again and again and I began to seek them out as the combination of wisdom and kindness that your shared. This was so comforting and also inspiring. The things you wrote resonated with me again and again. I was feeling somewhat lost on my path, especially as it related to my sadhana (personal practice) which I saw as a litmus test of my dedication and personal progress. I think that my practice had become the backbone of my stability during the health crisis with my father and was both incredibly important and edifying to me. As I wavered and felt baffled and betrayed by my own resolve, you offered that my sadhana was there to serve me and it could change and evolve based on my needs at any given time. This was a lightening bolt of meaningful information to me. It changed my relationship to my practice and I have been building on it again pretty much ever since. That somehow spoke to an underlying hope/belief that I could be a co-creator on my path, that Bhakti also meant self love and that, yes, these practices were also there to serve me. You also made me realize the importance of actually having a teacher. The intimate way you dealt with everyone’s personal situations and then also brought the classes back to practices that we could all benefit from. Your guidance and sharing of your experiences in similar situations somehow made the practice more alive. I learned many things through you and also through sharing and witnessing the others in the class. It was encouraging to be with a group of women who were also actively exploring these topics and and searching for meaning. This lessened my feelings of isolation and discomfort and revealed how important this process had become for me. Safety sounds like a benign word but I do not mean it in such a way. You said a number of things to me that made me feel safe, and thus able to really feel whatever was standing in my way at the time, and thus transform that energy and move forward. You created space for my fears to be felt and effectively honored; you provided contexts that made them feel less petty or small; your compassion gave me permission to believe in moving forward, to believe in my self. The self compassion idea you introduced me to is huge for me in terms of a spiritual practice. It’s been challenging to uncover all of the emotions and belief systems that I hold, and I’m far from done but I also think it’s showing me so much about myself and also hints at bigger experiences of love and unity with others. These threads further commit me to my path even if that commitment waivers; it’s just another reason there is no real turning back!…On a scale question: 10!!! Kind, wise, supportive, intuitive, visionary, creatively loving.” - RM.

“... if we establish a regular practice of intentional solitude, we invite a conversation between ourselves and the wild soul that comes near our shore. We do this not only just to “be near” the wild and soulful nature, but as in mystical tradition since time out of mind, the purpose of this is for us to ask questions and for the soul to advise.” - Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes Ph.
